I don't know about your, but I get super stoked when I get to repurpose something that I already own into something "Fan-Tab-ulous!"
I discovered this awesome little trick around 2016. I remembering buying several candles from Yankee Candle https://www.yankeecandle.com/product/pineapple-cilantro/_/R-1174269 It was the Pineapple Cilantro and the Pink Sand kind. I had never smelled such wonder candles in my life. Needless to say, I burned right through my whole stash in no time and I was sooooo disappointed :-( I was getting sick at the time and couldn't afford to keep buying new candles every week.
I kept looking at the candles wishing there was a way that I could keep using the wax that was left. Eventually, I got bored enough on day and I decided to try and salvage what was left. After a few times of trial and era , I came up with the solution to my candle addition!
I put the bottom all of the candle jars in hot water to loosen them up so they would come right out of the jars to be put in a double boiler and melted down again. This process was wayyyyy toooo long for me and ask I mentioned before, I was dealing with my chronic illnesses at the time and wasn't working. I didn't have extra money to go out and buy candle making supplies or anything extra.
After a few times of getting burnt and burning the wax, smh, I found a quick way to reuse and not waste a drop!
It was actually very simple, but I'm an A Type (right brainer) so if it is not complicated, I don't understand it, lol!
I simply made new candles in 3 easy steps
1. Scrap out the old wax
2. Place the wax in a non stick aluminium pan or bowl, CAREFULLY!!!! heat it up on the stovetop, in your oven or use a double boiler
3. Use a spoon or ladle to scoop the liquid out and CAREFULLY!!!! pour it into your recycled glass candle holder or metal tart mold.

*Tips: Please be SUPER DUPER CAREFUL, hot wax is nothing to play with and could severely burn your skin or worse. If you are not use to handling hot wax, use protective gear like, glasses, aprons and gloves. If you are scared, DO NOT try this at all!
*I mix several candles together to create a larger candle, or to get a new scent if i have small amounts of several kind.
